Hello! Welcome back once again to another blog post, today I’m going to tell you a little more about our new games. First off, a game we’re developing internally ‘RETROCORE’ plus another indie dev that has accepted us as their publisher for ‘DEUL’. Both of these games are mobile games with very different concepts and styles, we hope you like them!
Starting with our own game, RETROCORE is a 2D top down mobile game that I’m personally developing as a single programmer. I’m working side by side with an amazing illustrator and artist who I’m hoping to introduce to you later this year! RETROCORE will be a fun, story driven game that will require the player to make their way through corporate networks in hopes of rescuing their damsel in distress. Destroying enemies as you progress and collecting their cores that are dropped, these are used as an in game currency for upgrading your character, weapons etc. The game will include Leaderboards, Achievements, possibly some Multiplayer features and maybe although I don’t really like it, some in-app purchases. Maybe, I don’t really like the idea of it but then at the same time some players prefer their games to be free. What do you think? £1.50 to play for ever or free with in-app purchases? I just don’t know.
Here’s a concept of how it looks in game:
Yesterday indie dev Artyom Naumov agreed to join ranks with Greenlight Games, allowing us to publish his upcoming title ‘DEUL’.
DEUL is a simple little game about duels (made with a help of Unity game engine). Rules are simple: kill first or be killed. Test and improve your reaction. Beat your own hi-score. Gain fame points to buy different bullet types. Gain XP points and level up to improve your skills. Bullets are real and collide, slow motion happens sometimes, blood drops, ragdoll physics included as well.
It’s coming to Android next month (PC version will be available later).
So DEUL is the second title to make it into our publishing portfolio, we’re looking forward to what they will bring! You’ll find their websites and other stuff popping up in the near future along with an official announcement.
So currently in development by Greenlight Games:
- Prison Payback
Currently in publishing agreement with Greenlight Games:
- The Source
I can’t say how excited I am about this, the progress Greenlight Games has made in just the past month is actually amazing! Once again I want to thank you for taking the time to read my blog and GG updates, if you have any questions please feel free to ask them!
As always please like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter and maybe even Subscribe via email in the sidebar! Go on, you know you want to. 🙂
All the best,
