Injustice 2 is coming some time in 2017 according to NetherRealm Studios. Yesterday, a new trailer for the game came out and showcased two new characters that have recently become a lot more popular. Harley Quinn and Deadshot are both coming into the new game looking like they did in Suicide Squad.
Harley Quinn was the big focus of the Injustice 2 trailer, as she has always been a fan favorite character since her inception in Batman the animated series. She has plenty of new tricks up her sleeve, including some new guns, a big hammer, her loveable pets with their colorful Mohawks, and of course what weapon set is complete without that old cartoon favorite, dynamite. Harley is not going to take any slack from the heroes or villains and will be tearing up both sides this time. Just like the Joker would have wanted I’m sure.
The other big hitter debuting in Injustice 2 is Deadshot. He’s coming in as “one of the deadliest Super-Villains to inhabit Gotham City.” The trailer definitely paints him as an expert assassin. With him doing trick shots ricocheting off of things and into people while using a variety of guns. He’s also keeping his favorite little knife to play around up close and personal.
According to the official YouTube post in the new game you’ll get to, “Build and power up the ultimate version of your favorite DC legends in INJUSTICE 2. With a massive selection of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains, INJUSTICE 2 allows you to personalize every iconic character with unique and powerful gear. Take control over how your favorite characters look, how they fight, and how they develop across a huge variety of game modes. This is your Legend. Your Journey. Your Injustice.”
New looks for Harley, and a deadly character named Deadshot have both shown up to play in Injustice 2. You’ll also hold a lot of power over how your favorite character plays, so you’ll be able to choose more on looks than play style. Which is very different from most fighting games. I guess we’ll have to wait until sometime in 2017 to find out. My guess is it’ll be sometime in March. So, what do you think of the changes to Harley and Deadshot? Are you excited, or will you miss the old look?
